Eligibility

What you need for Wa'ed.

  • Saudi nationality, good conduct and character.
  • Full-time enrolment and residency in the destination country.
  • Not currently on an active scholarship (applications are permitted, but active scholars are generally not eligible to start a new one).
  • Destination countries have included Spain, France, Switzerland, the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, South Africa and New Zealand — the current list is set by the Ministry per specialization.
